Job Description

Responsibilities:

1) Deploying the Group compliance policies in the APAC Region

  • Develops and implements effective compliance training programs, including appropriate introductory training for the most subjected employees within the APAC area
  • Supports and implements Compliance related communications within the AMERA area
  • Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, keeps the Group Chief Compliance Officer and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts
  • Coordinates local Compliance entities and monitors the performance of the Compliance Program
  • Keeps abreast of laws and regulations and their evolution
  • Independently investigates and acts on matters related to compliance, including the flexibility to design and coordinate internal investigations (e.g. responding to reports of problems, whistleblowing alerts, etc)

2) Being the Data Protection Correspondent Support the implementation in the Region of the Group Data Protection Program

  • Deploys standard policies, practices and standard documents where needed
  • Conducts audits, where needed, with the support of local providers when required
  • Develops and implements effective compliance training programs, including appropriate introductory training for the most subjected employees within the AMERA area
  • Liaises with the Group Data Protection Officer, keeps him regularly informed of the operations and progress of compliance efforts

Desired Skills and Experience:

Technical Experience:

  • 7-10 years of working experience with minimum of 2 years in compliance
  • Solid knowledge and experience in data protection is required
  • Experience of implementation of group compliance policies, in particular anti-bribery.
  • International exposure and capacity to manage legal concerns cross-culturally and internationally
