Payroll Manager, Top Tier Investment Management

A top tier investment management firm is looking for a Payroll Manager to be based either in Hong Kong or Singapore. The role will sit under finance and will be responsible for managing payroll processing for APAC offices, vendor management, overseeing payroll policies and procedures implementation, tax reporting and system implementations etc.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise full set of payroll cycle
  • Oversee policy implementation in support of new office openings
  • Liaise and work with HR, Tax, Accounting and Legal departments frequently on continuous improvement and regulatory changes for payroll, tax, pension and compensation matters
  • Formulate and streamline payroll policies and procedures to improve process efficiencies and compliance of statutory requirements

 

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years’ experience of payroll, preferably with regional experience on the buy side or financial services
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of VLOOKUP’s, sum ifs and pivot tables
  • Workday Financial Management system is a plus
