The role is primarily expected to support the Asia Pacific (APAC) business sectors and commercial teams across the APAC Group.
Responsible for providing advice and strategic on a broad range of legal issues of corporate, commercial, corporate acquisitions or disposals, commercial agreements, dispute resolution and litigation, competition law issues, labour/employment laws and IP agreements.
Responsible for providing support in relation to the implementation and monitoring of the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and related policies on a national and regional level and taking remedial and escalatory steps, as necessary.
Responsible for identifying areas of risk and liability to the business and providing solutions to minimise, or eliminate them. This involves analysing complex commercial business issues arising throughout the Group,
Has a high level of influence and persuasion with business and instructs and manages external professional service providers.
Must communicate clearly (orally and in writing), persuasively and authoritatively in order to influence actions by others which minimise the risk of harm to the business or maximise opportunities.
Qualified lawyer with 4 to 7 years of working experience from international law firm or MNC
Corporate and commercial legal experience needed, compliance experience is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent English and Mandarin abilities required
