Job Description

RF Engineer for wearable device.


  • Participate in technical discussions and exchanges regarding technology developments, next generation developments and roadmaps
  • In depth electromagnetic analysis for random development and other advanced R&D programs
  • Participate in proposal preparation and technical analysis in support of new business activities
  • Lead or assist the project lead to manage system requirements and lead technical problem resolution across engineering disciplines during the execution of the program
  • Performs antenna analysis, including antenna efficiency and gain, VSWR, and radiation patterns
  • Provide antenna systems design/analysis support and requirements across a diverse range of platforms
  • Effectively transfers antenna designs to manufacturing, and ensures products meet specifications and quality requirements
  • Prepare and present status/progress reports to BU and customers
  • Interface as the central resource with design, test, application, software and marketing teams
  • Develop test plans and perform module level design verification in the lab
  • Perform lab analysis and evaluation of new transceiver systems, working with a multi-functional team to identify, simulate, and correct functional and parametric problems


  • Minimum 10 years of technical working experience, knowledge in RF technology (NFC, WIFI, BT, Cellular/NB-IoT) is a must
  • Wireless experience strongly preferred working knowledge of RF signal propagation, channel modeling, digital communication technologies, embedded software, and mesh protocols
  • Knowledge of Designs, receives, and transmitter antenna systems based on customer specifications, bandwidth, group delay, gain flatness, up/down conversion schemes, intermodulation, P1 dB and saturation power, etc.
  • Strong RF and communication systems desence background and experience
  • Experience conducting reliability analysis for RF systems
  • Radio Engineering with hands on experience in debugging, failure analysis and functional verification
  • Familiar with simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS
  • Experience working with transceivers and different sub-blocks, ex : PLLs, Mixers, LNAs, ADC\DAC
  • Success delivering designs to manufacturing and product availability (end to end development cycle)
  • Experience with CDMA technology design skills is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with good spoken and written English, also proficient in Mandarin
  • Able to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in dynamic environment
  • Ability to work across multi-cultural teams
  • Able to adopt frequent travel with irregular working hours
