Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a leading American global asset management firm, in their search for an experienced Investment Analyst for their Mumbai office. This role will report directly to a Portfolio Manager based in Singapore and will be a part of the Equities Fundamental team, with a focus on Indian small-cap equities.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities in the Indian small-cap equity market.

Compile comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate investment ideas and recommendations to the Equity Portfolio Manager.

Continuously monitor and analyze existing portfolio holdings, sectors, and industry trends.

Conduct company visits and maintain close relationships with management teams to gather insights and assess operational performance.

Provide support in administrative matters, such as preparing reports and presentations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from a reputed institution.

Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in financial analysis and equity research, with a strong emphasis on the Indian small-cap market.

CFA certification is highly preferred.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Excellent research, analytical, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable.
