Description
This role supports global operational risk initiatives across multiple asset classes and geographies. The Associate will work closely with global risk teams to implement operational risk frameworks, support governance committees, and enhance risk identification, assessment, and reporting practices.


Responsibilities

  • Support global risk and compliance committees and related governance forums

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining operational risk frameworks and policies

  • Conduct annual Risk & Self-Control Assessments (RCSA) across entities and regions

  • Identify, assess, and report operational risk controls and indicators

  • Support business teams with risk analysis, expertise, and problem solving

  • Assist in implementing best-practice operational risk processes

  • Support due diligence of outsourced service providers

  • Collaborate closely with global operational risk functions

  • Participate in ad-hoc operational risk projects and initiatives


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • 3-6 years of experience in operational risk management within investment or fund management environments

  • Working knowledge of financial products (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, alternatives)

  • Familiarity with global regulatory regimes (UK, US, Ireland, APAC preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
