Description

Our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company, are seeking a Business Compliance Manager to lead our client’s Compliance program in Germany, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal policies, while also assisting in implementing compliance initiatives across Europe.


Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program in Germany, including policy creation, training, and monitoring.

Collaborate with the Regional Compliance Officer to extend compliance initiatives to other European countries under our client’s Europe Generics business.

Stay abreast of regulatory developments in Germany's pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors and proactively implement processes to ensure compliance.

Conduct compliance risk assessments, liaise with internal stakeholders, and address identified risks effectively.

Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance matters in Germany, investigate allegations of COBE breaches, and manage statutory compliance reporting.

Deliver compliance training to German business units, develop testing and monitoring programs, and oversee third-party compliance oversight.

Provide expert advice on compliance matters to the German management team, participate in regional compliance meetings, and contribute to global compliance projects.


Requirements

German-educated Law/Finance/Management graduate with 8+ years of compliance program implementation experience, preferably in a global company.

Background in the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/Healthcare industry with engagement handling healthcare professionals.

Strong project management and communication skills, fluency in German and English (additional languages preferred).

Analytical mindset to identify and address compliance risks, ability to build relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.

Ethical integrity, judgment, and confidentiality in a position of trust, along with the capacity to work independently and contribute effectively to compliance initiatives.
