Description
This role supports the legal and compliance function with regulatory research, contract management, and day-to-day legal operations. The position offers exposure to securities regulation, commercial contracts, and internal stakeholder advisory work.
Responsibilities
Track and summarise regulatory updates (SEBI, RBI, exchanges, regulators)
Maintain and update compliance manuals, policies, and SOPs
Draft legal notes, internal memos, and regulatory responses under supervision
Review and negotiate routine commercial agreements and NDAs
Maintain contract trackers and document management systems
Coordinate document execution and regulatory filings
Liaise with internal teams and external counsel
Support investigations, audits, and compliance reviews
Assist with corporate housekeeping and legal operations
Requirements
LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) from a recognised university
4+ years of experience in law firms or in-house legal teams
Strong legal research and drafting skills
Familiarity with securities and financial services regulations preferred
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and contract tools
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
