Aquis Search is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced payments legal counsel to join a renowned financial services giant in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Review and negotiate contracts with merchants, partners, and strategic alliances

Draft and negotiate agreements with payments-associated partners, outsourced vendors, and service providers

Advise on market entry strategies, including establishment and mergers & acquisitions

Collaborate closely with the Compliance function on licensing and regulatory compliance

Liaise with external legal counsel as required

Stay abreast of legal developments in the APAC region and proactively initiate relevant actions for the business

Provide practical and commercially sound advice to business stakeholders in an efficient manner

Prepare impact analyses on newly issued laws and regulations affecting the organization

Requirements

6-8 years of post-qualification experience

Expertise in advising on payments-related contracting, product development, and regulatory matters
