Our client, a leading multinational pharmaceutical company based across global locations, is looking for a Regional Compliance Officer for Europe. The Regional Compliance Officer will lead our client's Ethics/Compliance program for the European Generics business, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations across the region.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a regional compliance plan, monitoring regulatory changes and implementing processes for compliance.

Conduct compliance risk assessments, collaborate with stakeholders to develop controls, and investigate potential breaches of the Code of Business Ethics.

Serve as the primary liaison for ethics and compliance matters across the Europe Region, delivering training, managing statutory compliance, and overseeing third-party compliance.

Lead the Europe Regional Compliance Council, participate in global compliance projects, and report regularly to Legal & Compliance management on program implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or Management with 12+ years of compliance experience in a global company, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry.

Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and influencing abilities.

Fluency in English is mandatory, proficiency in additional European languages preferred.

Proven ability to build relationships and influence across diverse business backgrounds, coupled with unquestionable ethics, confidentiality, and independence.
