Description
A leading financial services organization is looking for a Senior Manager – Algorithmic Trading Development, building high-performance, client-facing trading algorithms and smart order-routing solutions. You’ll work with real-time and historical market data, quantitative analytics, and statistical signals to deliver highly scalable, low-latency, and high-availability execution technology for institutional trading.


Responsibilities -
Design, build and maintain a Next Generation Algorithmic Trading platform including highly customizable latency trading strategies as well as key infrastructure components such as order management and order handling, rules engines and other algorithmic trading components.

Work closely with quantitative analysts, traders and business analysts on implementation of trading algorithms.

Work with Product and Sales teams on client requests and algo customizations.

Develop innovative solutions in a strategic, pragmatic way.

Succeed in a collaborative development environment.

Be curious and inquisitive around industry trends and strive for continuous improvement.

Provide L3 support for local Trading Desks


Requirements
BE/BTech degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related Engineering field from premier IIT institutes.

Minimum 7 years’ experience preferably in developing trading strategies in Equities, Futures or Listed Derivatives (execution algorithms, prop strategies, risk trading, smart routing etc.).

Expert proficiency with computer technologies including Java, Linux, and OO Design with a focus on performance, reusability, test automation and flexibility for customizations.

Demonstrated development skills in a collaborative, team-oriented style.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Agile Methodologies.

Experience with low latency messaging products/complex event processing.

Knowledge of event-driven (pub/sub) programming models.

Knowledge of TIBCO Streaming would be an added advantage.
